I previously mentioned this to Brittany but it can pretty much relate to anyone’s project that is planning on putting a test kitchen into their building program… Time for Dinner is a class that my mom and little sisters participate in. Basically, they go to class and learn how to make new dishes while making them right then and there. All of the recipes taught are chosen specifically so that the prepared dishes can go home and be frozen until whenever they want to eat it.
This class not only teaches them new recipes, but also provides food that can last the rest of the week, while cooking with friends and neighbors. It is also a little bonding moment that my mom and little sisters share together.
This type of class could work really well in your guys’ ideas of test kitchens and could be something that bring community members together while getting educated in the culinary arts
